Sasha, you can make your own small easel backs for labels by folding a strip of card into a triangle. Fasten it together with double-sided tape and then use double-sided tape to fasten the label to it. You can make different angles by varying the length of the sides of the triangle. I hope that's clear.

Subject: how to mount a foamboard, and easel-backs for labels
Hello ALL!
I am installing a historical display for an engineering school. I am
an artist by trade, not a museum professional (as you know, often we
end up doing everything in these related fields). BUT I do want to
make a good looking display. There are 12 cases that are involved. An I
have couple of questions to you esteemed professionals. These problems
may seam trivial, but I am having couple of concerns.
Question number 1: I am mounting a painted insulation foam-board(about
half an inch thick) in the back of the cases. I will glue large images
onto the foam-board, to enable easy change and variation of items
displayed.
Question number 2: I am looking to purchase some "easel backs" for
smaller information labels, about 2", 1.5". It is a quick and
affordable solution. All I can find from my familiar suppliers - such
as Uline - is the minimum 3" cardboard easel back. Does anybody know
what I am talking about? I have seen this label with a small
easel-back in a display in a museum in Indianapolis (I swear that I
saw it). Any other creative input about free-standing label making?
Any suggestions about suppliers for easel back, and other exhibition fixtures?
Please, I would appreciate any suggestion, input. Thank you all in advance.
