Greg,
The National WWII Museum collects a wide variety of WWII artifacts including items from Nazi Germany. I would be happy to help in whatever way I can. Feel free to email me or give me a call.

Subject: [MUSEUM-L] military deaccession

The McLean County Museum of History is assessing a large collection of militaria which represents foes and allies of the United States from the Spanish American War to World War Two. We will be reducing the size of these collections to simply maintain representative pieces of foes.

We are deeply concerned about Nazi militaria. A German museum director has suggested that it be kept and out of sight and hand from those who would be thrilled to see it or possess it.

We would be interested in hearing from or learning about museums who are ethically collecting such objects.
