Duties and Responsibilities:
The Lee-Fendall House Museum & Garden in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia is seeking a museum education intern. Tasks include developing educational programming targeting children and teens, including Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts; publicizing educational programming; and assisting with special events.

Preferred Qualifications:
The intern must be flexible and willing to assist with all aspects of the organization’s work. An understanding of museums and basic object handling is required. Excellent oral and written communication skills important. Applicant must be have previous experience working with youth and be capable of lifting and moving objects.
