Dear David,
Two links that might be of interest as you're preparing the workshop:
http://tinyurl.com/2vlst83 (desk research conducted earlier this year)
http://tinyurl.com/3a3l8jq (results from a recent research project exploring
potential of mobile and location-based access to digital heritage)
We're going to launch an iPhone app in a few weeks time, on Dutch war
monuments. The app combines content and contextual information from a
variety of sources (institutional & Wikipedia) and also invites end-users to
contribute media/knowlegde. [1]
Hope this helps, please contact me off-the-list to learn more about the
projects we're doing.
Best wishes from Amsterdam,
Johan
