** Study heats up dinosaur metabolism debate
In an article recently published in PLoS ONE , Pontzer and his colleagues
utilized two biomechanical methods to predict the metabolic demands of 14
different species of dinosaurs
** Raptor feet provide clues to dinosaur killing techniques
By studying how talons vary in length and curvature of the claws, and
comparing that with how different raptors kill their prey, researchers at
Montana State University are hoping to get new insights into how dinosaurs
with similar feet hunted and ate

** Horned dinosaur fossils found in Japan for first time
The Museum of Nature and Human Activities, Hyogo, in Sanda, Hyogo
Prefecture, said fossils of a horned dinosaur were discovered in the lower
layer of the Sasayama group from the Early Cretaceous Period in the
prefectural city of Sasayama
