Probably the best place to begin a broad research project in an area of
conservation is <Art and Archaeology Technical Abstracts> (AATA).
Currently, this is being published as a cooperative project between the
International Institute for Conservation (IIC) and the Getty Conservation
Institute. If you are unable to locate a set of the publication locally,
you may wish to contact the Getty Conservation Institute at:
