Subject: help us design a boat
We are in the process of designing a boat that will be used for
science/ecology programming on our local river. The main purpose for it
will be school programs, but the boat will also be used for other purposes
as well. We wish to outfit the boat to serve our current programmatic needs
as well as to serve future programs. We know that we need the basics like
seating, a work table, a canopy/top for use in rainy weather, etc.. The
furniture and fittings need to be as flexible as possible since the boat
will have multiple uses (think school field trips to adult sunset cruises).
If you do water-based programming, I would be interested in hearing what
features you think we should include in our boat.
Any and all advice/suggestions are welcome.
thanks,
Robin
