Yes, CoOL is down for a short time, but one associated website is back
up on a new server.
Eventually the DNS will send you (without you knowing it) to the new
URL if one enters say <videopreservation website>. The albumen
website is down right now but it has a new URL, so it will be back
soon.
I just tried Conservation Online (CoOL) and got the message <WORKING
ON CoOL. CHECK BACK>.
The two web supervisors had to physically move the servers from
Stanford Libraries to a new server farm in the East Bay. This is a
planned process and is going according to estimates. Stanford
Libraries had to trim their staff and operations
