The Symposium will give library and museum professionals an
opportunity to interact with the curators, designers, conservators,
publicists, and other members of the team that produced, "The Last
Best Hope of Earth: Abraham Lincoln and the Promise of America."
Some of the key issues the Symposium will address:
-What are the essential ingredients of a successful exhibition ?
-What are the preservation issues related to an extended
exhibition ?
-What educational opportunities and obligations does a major
exhibition present ?
-Are library exhibitions worth the effort of mounting them ?
