We track attendance through our visitor services department and each
department is responsible for tracking it's own intern/volunteer hours.
Every year our accountant asks for the total of intern/volunteer
hours--I think they count as gifts in kind or some such for the museum's
accounting.

We are tying to improve our records of attendance,volunteer and intern 
hours, etc. What is important to track? Do you have each department 
track and turn in monthly records to a central recordkeeper? Do you use 
a standardized form and if so would you be willing to share it?
