A museum display is like any other program. It should engage visitors in any number of ways for any number of possible reasons or potential/desired consequences. The material for such a program can come from a museum's own resources, be located in its community, etc., and doesn't even have to move or be assembled in a new or different way at some particular location. A computer generated guide, or labels that offer a slightly differing appearance, could be used to provide a desired focus. Above all, any program should activate personal experience, and that can always be done inexpensively.
