We're pretty relaxed here, but we're not open to the public 40 hours a
week. For my own interns, I happily let them listen to their iPods or
streaming radio, so long as it's kept low enough not to distract others.
I frequently rock out at my own desk while working, finding it makes my
work flow much smoother.
I haven't had a problem with overuse of cellphones, though, as our
interns are pretty dedicated and focused when they're here.

Once again we will be bringing students on for the summer and I wanted
to
know what others do about the use of cell phones/blackberries on the
job
and ipods etc. Do you ban them outright? Would like some feedback
please.
Thanks
