Registrar, Arts Advisory Client, NYC
For our New York City arts advisory client we are seeking an experienced
Registrar. The successful candidate will have museum-quality experience
with all aspects of registrarial duties and procedures, including but not
limited to: condition reports; international courier experience; long and
short term storage solutions; national and international shipping; other
duties as required. The position oversees a collections manager and art
handlers and involves working with high-profile, high-energy and
deadline-sensitive clients. The ideal applicant will have 6-8 years
experience in a registrarial capacity and excellent organizational,
interpersonal and communications skills with both clients and coworkers. A
take-charge attitude and the ability to respond immediately to requests are
essential. BA in art history or related required; experience with all
types, mediums and periods of fine and decorative arts a must. An
excellent position for a discreet and dedicated professional. Competitive
