I am seeking a model maker to clean and repair a circa 1985 model of an 18th century building. I would welcome any recommendations, especially those for the mid-Atlantic region, in particular the Philadelphia area.
The model is wired with an electrical lighting system that I also need advice on. It needs to be reconfigured a bit to be brought up-to-date and it is clearly handmade, so not UL-listed.
I would be most interested in hearing about experiences with functioning low-voltage electrical artifacts, and if you have decided to run them while they were on display, how you went about doing that. What kind of precautions did you take? How did you ensure that the artifact was within current codes?
Thank you!
Claire
