It has been pointed out that my post yesterday was a bit hazy. What
I meant to say was that I was reared DOWNWIND from the Hanford Atomic
Works and I like to think that accounts for any lapse in my sanity
these days.
I've noticed that there seems to be a movement to pitch Science Centers
to communities as a way of encouraging technological development in
their areas and I wondered if Natural History folks had any thoughts
on that. Would these economic concerns bias the presentation of the
history of science? Or has Disney already done that?
