I tend to agree with Tracey Rae Winters in her recent note about creationist
museums. There are many small museums that do not have professional staff who
know about the latest museum techniques. They may not even be familiar with
other museums.
I tend to disagree somewhat on the subject of creationism. I believe God
created the world, but not necessarily in 24 hour days. The evidence points to
a much longer time span. On the other hand, I don't think there is enough
evidence to prove a random evolutionary creation, as some museum exhibits I've
seen seem to suggest. As far as I can tell, we cannot prove any of these
models of world origin. Each takes some faith to believe in. So lets stay open
minded, and not look down on those who do not hold with our view of the
earth's origin. We are bound to learn more by considering each other's
evidence than by making fun of it.
However, it is easier for me to believe I am the creation of an intelligent
and loving creator, rather than the formation of mindless, random process.
