Available now until August 2008 for any 8 week period, Tools in Motion: Works
from the Hechinger Collection is available to venues for the cost of round-trip
shipping from our storage facility in Baltimore, Maryland. (Contact for
estimated cost.)
Tools in Motion is an exhibition of witty, light-hearted works by emerging and
prominent contemporary artists chosen from The Hechinger Collection. The 49
motion-related and visually intriguing works selected for this exhibition were
chosen with children, families and school groups in mind to foster many
educational programing opportunities. In addition, the inclusion of works by
artists such as Arman, Claes Oldenburg, and Jim Dine, and the use of materials
such as wood, paper, metal and stone, will attract contemporary art lovers of
all ages.
This exhibition not only appeals to a broad audience, but is also designed for a
wide range of venues and can be a clever, appropriate exhibition for any
museum under renovation.
