The Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh was previously the Volkwein Music
Store Building and the Dia Art Space, in Beacon, NY, was a converted
Nabisco Biscuit Factory. Both of these were done by Gluckman Maynor
Architects of New York, who have done many other gallery and museum
projects. In my estimation, they have designed some of the most
beautifully understated and highly practical, useful, art spaces I've
ever seen and used.
