According to Lisa Brochu's Interpretive Planning, the 5-M Model for Successful 
Planning Projects (2003), the recommendation is around $300 per square foot 
for a good mixture of exhibit techniques (flat panels and high-tech 
interactives) with an additional 30% for design. That being said, wouldn't it be 
nice to have that kind of money?
