hi all,
we've deployed the another phase of the steve.museum tagging
experiment, at http://tagger.steve.museum
the steve tagger (a piece of open-source software) is a key tool in
our IMLS-funded study of the contribution social tagging and
folksonomy can make to on-line access to art collections. throughout
our experiment we'll be varying the interface of the tagger to find
out what encourages tagging. there's another instance of online now,
and we'd like you to come and try it out.
If you'd like to participate, please come by. [it's ok if you don't
work in an art museum -- and ok if you do!]
Go to http://tagger.steve.museum
- create an account, or log into your existing one
[this is important for our research]
- Tag Art!
we're looking forward to sharing the results of our study with the
community. thanks for your help.
