Hello all,
Our museum has decided to do a Photography drive. This drive is about
getting people to bring up images they have of the surrounding area,
primarily the county. While we know that some are not going to be
willing to just give us the originals, what we want to do is be able
to scan the pictures at a high resolution in order to use these
pictures for exhibits and slide show presentations. I am not sure how
to word the conditions for the owner of the photographs to sign when
we scan the pictures, which would allow us to reproduce them. Also
since the Museum wouldn't have ownership of the originals we would not
be able to reproduce these pictures to the public without permission
from the owner. If anyone has a document or conditions they would like
to share please feel free to email me off the list. I hope this makes
sense, I was just thrown this and my mind is scattered.
Thank you so much,
Christa McCay
