Greetings Museumers,
I am interested in any suggestions you may have for cataloging modules.
I am currently leaning toward either taking up an OCLC Connexion subscription but wonder about the costs involved.
Another option is using PastPerfect, but the cataloging isn't as rich as a Marc record. However, it is my understanding that PastPerfect allows for inherent catalog display (which is not the case with OCLC's Connexion client since OCLC must download your records to your own database, and then you must display them yourself.)
Other services, such as "Readerware" don't allow for ephemera or artifact cataloging. Am I correct?
What are you guys using and why?
Emily
