Thanks for all of the advice so far! Yes, we do have a collections
policy that
states "No loans to individuals". Unfortunately they seem to be
overlooking the
importance of following the policy that our museum executive board
approved.
I will definately bring up possible tax issues as well as the other
suggestions in
my next discussions with this group; I am not giving up this easily!
