On Thursday, April 26,11:30AM and 12:30PM to 3:30PM the Friends of Arizona
Archives will host two hands-on document conservation workshops as part of
the 2007 Arizona & New Mexico Joint History Convention, at the Hon-Dah
Resort in Pinetop-Lakeside, Arizona.
Conservation Officer Michael McColgin and Archivist Jennifer Albin of the
History and Archives Division of the Arizona State Library, Archives, and
Public Records will conduct a hands-on workshop on how to repair and
preserve historic documents. There is a choice of either a morning or
afternoon workshop and attendees are encouraged to bring paper materials in
need of repair.
Attendees will not only leave the class with a repaired family treasure, but
also with materials to practice their new skills at home. Please RSVP to

21. Cost: $40 for FAzA/SSA members; $55 for non-members. (Each workshop is
limited to 16 people.)
