Good evening, MuseumLers - I am very fond of my EuroClean Hip Vac UZ964H. It
has an optional turbo/powered nozzle available if you need to do floors with
it. I call it my "obi vacuum cleaner" because I look like I am wearing an
obi (out of blue/orange plastic of course) when I have it strapped on to my
waist. It is very comfortable, quiet and very durable. Very affordable, too:
buying extra HEPA filters and bags at the time of purchase will make it cost
about $500.00.

We use a Miele vacuum in our conservation lab. It has held up well and
the conservation staff seems to be content with it. We replaced an older
Nilfisk with the Miele.
