From your brief description, these sound like education collection items or
exhibit display pieces rather than accession-able, permanent collection
items. If you don't already have an education collection established, you
may wish to do so.

Subject: [MUSEUM-L] What object names to list miscellaneous furniture
components as in pastperfect?
We have been working on a furniture heritage project with many objects that
exhibit the furniture making process. It includes examples of die-cutting,
laser-
cutting wood pieces as well as decorative carving components, cabinet and
drawer faces, and also drawer pulls. We have encountered problems with
finding an appropriate place to put these types of items within the
PastPerfect
lexicon. There is a "worked wood" option under unclassifiable objects, but
we
believe this is not appropriate. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
