We are in the process of acquiring Past Perfect to manage our collection, but
are also trying to figure out a better way to organize and keep track of our
library. We allow members to check out books from our library, this is
currently tracked by paper and pen in a binder, and we fear that many of
books have not returned. Past Perfect seems like it will be a good way for us
to catalog what is in our library, but will it be able to keep track of checking
books in and out?
Looking at the Past Perfect website there is mention of loan in and loan out
capabilities, but it seems to be more oriented toward collection pieces than
library books. Does anyone else have experience with this issue? We are
hoping to have avoid having multiple programs and systems...
