Auction Network Director
For our international internet and web portal client we are seeking an
Auction Network Director. The successful candidate will head a new
auction product line and manage all activities required for weekly and
monthly online auctions. Duties include assisting with the creation of
long-term business model and initial development of the related
technology and formatting; creating and implementing policies and
timelines for online auctions; soliciting, communicating and
coordinating dealer consignors; managing online sales; supporting
customer service; analyzing prices and trends within the market; other
tasks as necessary. The ideal applicant will have at least 4 years
experience with commercial arts-related internet sites and possess
superior communication skills and the ability to work with close
deadlines. Substantial knowledge of fine art and the market is
essential; some auction house experience preferred. BA required.
