Commercial Operations Manager (Boston)
For our important history museum client in Boston, we are seeking a
Commercial Operations Manager. The successful applicant will provide
financial management and oversight for three museum stores, product
development and targeted growth ventures. Duties include addressing
accounts payable issues; negotiating price points; long range planning and
the development of an annual budget; hiring, training and supervising
merchandising staff; overseeing shop security and related issues;
researching new products, projects and initiatives; creation of a
merchandising image, marketing and promotional plans; other duties as
necessary. The ideal applicant will have a BA and at least 5 years
experience in a managerial role, preferably in museum sales or
merchandising. A savvy, proactive approach and superlative communications
and supervisory skills are essential. Salary to 50K with excellent
