Hi,
I work at a medium sized museum and we got a digital camera for the same
purpose. We got an HP photosmart model R607. It has been very good,
we've taken many thousands of photos with it. One good feature it has is
super macro which we use much more than I first thought we would. It also
has regular macro which we use too. Also it dosn't need any special
software to get the pictures from the camera, although it comes with some.
Hope this helps.
