You could switch to the "digest" method and receive just one listing per
day of postings to the list. I tried that for awhile but even that
became too much to look at in one sitting. Now I just delete the emails
I'm not interested in reading. Who has that much time anyway?

Subject: [MUSEUM-L] how do I turn off the emails?
Hi Everyone,
I am new to this listserv and think that this site will be a very
valuable resource, but I really don't want the constant stream of emails
in my in-box. I would prefer to simply visit the site and check the
archives, etc. Is there any way to turn off the function that sends
every posting via email? I tried to set my settings to "no mail" but it
doesn't seem to work. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Greg
