Development Coordinator
For our distinguished New York City arts non-profit, with a focus on
community arts, we are seeking a Development Coordinator. The successful
candidate will research new sources of state, corporate, foundation and
individual support; develop relationships with potential and existing
donors; initiate and oversee partnerships with other non profit
organizations; write all related letters and proposals; prepare and follow
up with same; maintain development files and fundraising calendar; provide
staff support and outreach for the Annual Benefit and other fundraising
events. The ideal applicant will have at least 3 years experience in
development and with writing foundation, corporate and individual grants.
BA required; outstanding communications, correspondence and interpersonal
skills essential. Commitment to children's causes and interest in
development issues of utmost importance. Salary to 40K DOE with excellent
