** Paris Modern Art Museum Reopens
The Modern Art Museum of the City of Paris - an austere 1930s building lined
with columns and perched on the banks of the Seine - has been closed for
more than two years as workers brought it up to fire-safety standards
** Ofer cancels $20m donation to Tel Aviv Art Museum
Businessman Sammy Ofer is cancelling his $20 million donation for
construction of a new wing of the Tel Aviv Museum of Art. Ofer and his wife,
Aviva, published the cancellation in the "Ha'aretz" Hebrew daily in an
announcement entitled, "Excuse Me for Wanting to Donate."
