In an attic in Natchez, MS I found an old, leather covered document box from
the 1800s with a label inside:
"Guy C Hotchkiss/Chapel Street/ New Haven, Conn/ manufactures all kinds
of/Saddles, bridles, harnesses, trunks, carpet bags, & C/ Orders from any
part of the country will meet with prompt attention."
I can't find anything online. Does this name ring a bell? Does anyone know
the dates of his business?
Thanks in advance -Cheryl
