Hi Pamela - Glad the idea inspires.
Thank you everyone (Susan Floyd, Pamela Silvestri, Miranda Rectenwald,
Patricia Davis- Perkins, Indigo Nights, Rebecca Fitzgerald, Valerie Davis,
Patricia Reynolds) for your generous contribution! :)
Hope I did not miss out anyone. Pardon me if I have.
Just printed out all these emails from you and compiled it together, will
be mulling over them with a colleague this afternoon to see what we can
come up with.
Thanks once again!
Pamela Silvestri

Giving away archival materials is a great idea! That's so nice that you've
done that! I love it...I'm going to mention this to our museum board.
Thanks for mentioning this.
I would think you shouldn't be concerned about giving the certificates as
being too repetitive. As you say, they are meaningful - and that's the most
important thing. We've had our volunteer pizza dinner every year, at the
same place for the last 10 years! The meaning behind the dinner is what is
important. As long as the pizza is still good....hehe.

Thanks Pamela for your insights from a volunteer's point of view.
Last year we gave some archival materials as gifts to our volunteers since
we are preservers of heritage materials, we thought it was meaningful.
On the gift certificates, we have been giving them certificates since we
started the programme. Just want to get your views if you think it will
become repetitive if as a volunteer we get a same certificate every year
for your contribution?
Thanks again!
