Regarding information on British and Nazi military patches, I would
recommend starting with the following three books by Brian Davis and
Howard Cole. If you can't find your insignia in these books, I've
included a list of others books that are also good reference material.
Both Mollo and Rosignoli publish whole series of books on uniforms and
insignia, but I've only listed one each for these gentlemen. All of
these books are available through inter-library loan. All the books
listed below are in the library at the Canadian War Museum, but I'm sure
other institutions hold copies as well. Just give the info to your
librarian and they will find the nearest copies.
I have used all of these books myself and find them to be very useful
because of the illustrations!
