Even if you hold date in databases working to different data standards,
combining them in front-end searches is possible: as Norfolk County Council
has done with its library, archive and museum catalogues (Norfolk Access
online to Heritage) - I think it is www.noah.norfolk.gov.uk.
And for our next trick - my own county is planning to add in Heritage
Environment Records. (Using MIDAS as the data standard).
