Hi Mandy,
We use the microtool kit that is available directly from Nilfisk.  It has 
a plastic valve where it attaches to the metal end of the hose that allows 
you to decrease the vacuum.  Also the hose on the microtool kit is only 
about a quarter inch in diameter which results in a reduction of vacuum as 
well.  I believe that the kit is about $30.
