Interpretive Exhibit Designer
Split Rock Studios, a design/build firm based in Minneapolis/St.
Paul, seeks a talented, hardworking individual for an entry-level
Interpretive Exhibit Designer position. We are looking for someone
fresh and creative, with relevant design abilities and a demonstrated
interest in museums and visitor centers.
The ideal candidate will be able to work closely with our exhibit
developers and graphic designers; communicate with clients;
participate in planning and budgeting meetings; and create drawing
sets and fly-through movies to share with clients. Must ensure that
all assignments are completed within budget limitations, on schedule,
and in accordance with the highest standards of professionalism,
creativity and excellence in exhibit design.
Applicant should have experience working in Form Z or similar 3D
modeling program, possess good drawing skills and the ability to
understand plans, elevation drawings, and architectural sketches.
Knowledge of science, natural history, and cultural history a plus.
Salary commensurate with experience.
