Greetings all: I have struggled with this for years and now it's time to
finally figure it out.
We have a collection of 18th and 19th century ceramics which is typical to
all small historical societies -- lots of single plates, cups and saucers, a
few large pieces. We use high density shelving, manually controlled, and I
am inclined to want to box the pieces -- except for the large pieces, such
as coffeepots, tureens, washbowls, etc. Nothing I've done thus far has been
satisfactory, in terms of boxing. If it was all good in my little world I'd
have drawers, but this isn't in the cards.
I will entertain any suggestions. I want accessibility, safety and
efficiency...and to grow wings and fly to the moon!
Thanks,
Candace Perry
