I would totally agree with everything Andy mentioned in his reply. We have 20 of the H8 minis at the Indiana State Museum & a HOBO shuttle, we have had noting but good results with them. I might also add that the replacement batteries are not very expensive & can be found almost anywhere.

We use HOBO dataloggers here at the KU Natural History Museum to record climate control in our collections. We use both the H8 mini series and the LCD recorders and have had nothing but positive experiences with both. They are easy to use, download really easily (even easier with the HOBO shuttle which will download multiple loggers without having to remove them from the space) and provide very accurate recording of temp, humidity and light intensity. The best thing about them is that they are inexpensive.
