I rarely post to this list, but Deb Fuller's comment about the "bra-burners
of the 60s and 70s" has compelled me to respond. There never was ANY
burning of bras. I know some of the women who were at the Atlantic City
protest and all that was done was that bras were thrown into a large can.
If you don't believe me, check out the following two sites. It's past time
that this myth be silenced.
