I have looked through quite a bit of the MuseumL archive for material on
barcoding, however I am looking for current advise or recommendations on
how to get a barcoding project underway.
More importantly, one that will work with MULTI-MIMSY.
We are in the early stages of research and are eager to learn,
-what extra software is needed
-what type of handheld devices are being used
-what type of printers, paper stock, ink are being used
In the future we hope to have a new facility and we see barcoding as a
means of tracking the collections while in transit.
Please feel free to reply off-line.
Thank you in advance.
