Piping up as a long-time subscriber of Museum-L:
Gayle:
I respect both you and Roger. I see both of you have equal
opportunity to post on Museum-L. Neither has or deserves a monopoly to
post job-related resources on Museum-L. So what if Roger follows up
your posts with his own? What makes you presume your posts have
anything to do with his posts? And, frankly, as a long-time user of
Yahoo . . . it's not an invalid observation that Yahoo! Groups can be
irritating to deal with, whether registering as a Yahooligan OR
registering as a non-Yahooligan can be frustrating.
If running the museum-related Yahoo! Groups is a voluntary and
helpful endeavor and it pleases you, do it. I've found both Roger's web
site and your Yahoo Groups to be useful, especially in referring friends
toward jobs.
From a contented curator, with two good resources at my
fingertips: BEST WISHES to you both!
Now back to work for me . . .
