Greetings all:
Further to Marc’s recommendation about data logging equipment and monitoring
environmental conditions. While the HOBO U series loggers are good, their
RH range is only 25% to 95% over 41° to 131° F. This means that during the
winter, if the space is heated, you may not know how low the RH actually
goes since the RH trace will flat-line at 25%. If this is acceptable, then
the U-series loggers are OK to use. However, if you need to know just how
dry the conditions get and whether you get fluctuations at RH below 25%, I
would recommend using the HOBO Pro-8 loggers which have a range of 0 – 100%
RH.
