Dear list members,
Does anybody happen to know current numbers or publications about the
percentage of objects on display and in the depot of museums?
The only number that I came across was published by Slatin & Rush (2003:
161f) [1] and refers to the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, DC:
it says that there are less than 2% of the more than 240 million objects
on display.
Best regards,
Werner Schweibenz
