Please post to list! We also have several copper etching plates that we
need to store.

Subject: [MUSEUM-L] storage of etching plates
We have a number of etching plates in our collection as well as the
corresponding prints. The plates have been stored in newspaper,
cardboard and
bubblewrap to this point. I would like to store them properly but am
looking
for recommendations. How have others handled similar collections? Do
you
coat the plates to prevent oxidation? How have you stored them since
they are
quite heavy when stacked or boxed?
Thanks in advance for your suggestions.
