As I am an East Coaster the first source for a kimono stand that popped
into mind was the Museum of Arts and Design in NYC. My apologies for not
having something in mind a bit closer to your home base.
They had an exhibit last spring called, "Kimono Variations" and they may
be able to help. Since this was an exhibit of kimonos from their
permanent collection, however, I'm unsure of how willing they'd be to part
with some of their stands. It's worth a shot, though.
