THE ROME AREA HISTORY MUSEUM, located in the northwest Georgia area,
seeks an EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR.  The Executive Director will work with the
Board to implement the vision of the institution.  Specific
responsibilities include strategic planning; fund development; overall
exhibits and program strategy; operations and staff management.  The
successful candidate must have museum training and experience as well as
outstanding communication and marketing skills; proven fund-raising and
planning skills.  The Executive Director should have a bachelor's degree
in history, museum management, or a related field.
