Director of Exhibits - new major Children's Museum
New position leading the process to create exhibits for a wonder-filled
museum for children ages 0-8 and their adults. This 45,000 sf museum is
slated to open in late 2007. Phoenix is the 5th largest city in the
nation, with no children’s museum of its own and critical educational
needs. This is a high profile project, led by an experienced
children’s/science museum director. The design team includes nationally-
based consultants Mary Sinker and Neal Mayer, among other artists,
designers, and educators. We have developed a plan with an emphasis on
creative and constructive play, and we strive for truly hands-on exhibits
that inspire people in many ways. There is plenty of room for your
experience and expertise to make a critical difference in making this be a
successful and wonderful museum. To see more about this exciting
opportunity for an experienced museum exhibits professional check
